Does any one know the dress code for some one marking a womans singles match My wife was asked to mark a game here in Sun City West Az USA She was then turned away because some old lady said a shorts were to short

In Victoria, Australia, markers wear the same as the bowlers, shorts are OK but must be tailored and to the knee. The job of marker is taken very seriously in our Club as the marker can make a world of difference to the players, if they have confidence in the marker they can get on with the game knowing that the marker can be trusted to do their best for them both.

Dress code for markers is the same as for bowlers here in Canada, the shorts should be to the knee and if you are kneeling on the ground the shorts will be no shorter than 3 inches off the ground.
