I am newly appointed publicity officer of small club in Wairarapa, NZ.
Looking for any clipart images, pics etc pertaining to lawn bowls for use in newsletter and posters etc

Clip Art for bowlers seems very scarce. All the Microsoft clips are very US orientated apart from a little soccer and cricket. I would be very pleased to receive any attachments if anyone out there is feeling generous. The general level of responses on this board is pathetic. Lets hear from more of you!

For those interested bowls clipart is ailable at the yahoo 'bowlsworld' site, under files on the home page. you must become a member of bowlsworld to access files on the site.
any search engine will find the bowlsworld site.

Hi,
I made my own.First I took a photo of the green & scanned it into the computer as a stock background.Then opened it in Adobe PhotoDeLuxe(which came free with printer & scanner)I then used clip art from Art Explosion (but any would do) and dragged & copied it onto my photo.
The clip art has a white background but this can be erased with adobe as can any extra bits on the clip and the colours of the clothes can also be changed with Adobe.
I can send samples to anyone who wants them .Try it yourself with your own club greens as the background.

I have tried going to the 'bowlsworld' group at Yahoo, as was suggested by previous message writers, but seem unable to find more than one or two images =( Maybe I am missing something?!? I went to the files section, and I only found one folder with clip art in - and there was little in it, and even less that was of any quality!!! - can anyone help me here? If so, then please send me a message to clarify my mistakes.

Hi all, I found this site by using our friendly google. I have spent the afternoon looking for lawn bowling cartoons...ahhh. It sounds like some of you are better at this than I. Sandra - There are a few funny ones on this link - they are not particularly clear and in black & white - but you should be able to print off and enhance with a pen and/or colour.
