LAWNBOWLING SUCKS .....
I am doing a report on lawn bowling. So far I have decided that lawn boling is very stupid. It is a game for old, decrepid people who can't do real sports.Who wants to roll balls at another ball in the hot sun for hours on end

Dear Nick,
You can't even spell Lawn Bowling no wonder you call it stupid. If you only watch the game then it looks stupid to you but if you are in the green playing the game then you will know what you are missing.
Try it Nick I 'M sure you 'll love the game.
Regards to you.
Cecil.

The letter that you are reading at this moment in time is written by a "decrepid" bowler at the age of 17. I would like to ask you have you ever played the game? If you haven't I suggest these comments aren't here again due to angry bowlers like myself responding to stupid comments such as you have put forward.
Happy bowling,
A "decrepid bowler"

Dear Nick,
If you are still doing your report, then you should talk to me. I'm a 19 year old who
loves to bowl. Where I come from there are at least 100 bowlers under 25. I know it may look boring but it is great to play and requires a lot more skill than you think. I'm not a boring square person either. You should really find out some more facts before shouting your mouth off!

Dear Nick
I am sure you cannot be as sad a person as you seem, but as the old saying goes " If you cannot say good about something it is better to say noting at all". Lawn Bowling is a very skillful and friendly sport. Don't knock it try it.
Andrew.

Lawn bowls is a game of skill and extreme concentration. Bowls is not for all people, same as any other sport. I am involved with aussie rules football at a high level as a sports trainer. I play bowls during the summer months and am a sports trainer during the winter. Football is a physical contact sport, bowls is a game of skill. Bowls is the most challenging sport that I have been involved with. At our club we have members from 8-85 years of age. We have a 12 year old boy playing in our 2nd pennant team, he's not old or 'decrepid', but very intelligent and a great sports person.

You may not be interested in lawn bowls, but how about investing in a dictionary and learning how to spell!!!
Anyway, what about cricketers. They spend hours in the sun hitting and throwing balls for sometimes five days in a row.
Perhaps you are not a good bowler yet! Remember, practice makes perfect.

I'm with Donna, lawnbowls is quite the game of skill, even though you may not think this but you also need quite a bit of endurance to play the game! I also am 19 and love the sport, I was in the first Canadian Junior Championships and placed second, I am very proud of my accomplishments! Like everyone else says dont knock it till you try it!

Gee Nick look a bit further than your nose,
lawn bowls has been stereotyped as being an older person's sport.
A more accurate view is that it is a game for the young that older people can play. It is the only sport where people can compete equally regardless of sex or age.
