COMPUTER SCORING PROGRAMS .....
Hello, can anyone tell me of any programs that will keep track of scores and also calculate as you go?? Maybe something done in Excel or any other computer program that will do the same thing.
Thanks
Graeme

You could create something simple in Excel. Depends what you require.

Hi Donna, thanks for replying.
I have no exp in Excel and was hoping there was a program out there we could use. I saw the post by Mark about a program he developed but I am unable to contact him as the email he gave seems to be incorrect as it is returned.
Donna do you use Excel? if so would it be possible for you to email me a sample sheet please?
I would think there are a lot of clubs that are computerized these days and would like to hear from people on what they use.
Any help would be appreciated
Graeme

Help is at hand!
Do you spend hours sorting out all those competition draw sheets?
Do you spend hours recording scores and round by round listings?
Singles, Pairs, triples or Fours competitions.
Would you like a spread sheet where you only have to enter the names of the competitors? The spreadsheet then sorts out the first round byes and matches for you.
When the scores are entered it will then sort out the subsequent round draws.
It will do a random draw for the first round or on all rounds if you wish.
It will produce a standard draw chart for your competition updated each round if you wish or it will produce a round by round listing of matches to be played.
If you would like a free demonstration copy please email comp951@eircom.net

We would like to play lawn bowls on a round robin way. We have 21 teams but only one green with 7 rinks. Is it possible to play a round robin tournament in 4 days.
