BOWLS SIZES .....
does anyone know how to measure what size of bowls i should use,some one said i sould put my thumb to my middle finger around my bowl and if they touched it was the right size of bowl

I have heard of that system and it appears worthwhile to me. Howeve it may depend on the type of grip that you use. If you use a claw grip it may not prove relevant. On the other hand, your Club might have a good level 2 Coach who should have a worthwhile opinion. In any case, borrow some different bowls from other Members and try them out.
If you bowl poorly you can blame the size of the bowl.However the fault will probably lie elswhere.
