There will be a date stamp (two digit number)O on the side of each bowl. That date will show you the year the bowls are able to be used in serious competition (you can play with any age of bowl in 99% of play).
Take 10 years off that number for the year they were made. For eg 11 means that the bowls were made in 2001. 04 means the bowls were made in 1994. I hope this helps
