SCORING FOR ROUND ROBIN .....
I have 4 teams playing a Round Robin. I want them to be involved in all 3 games. So instead of just wins and losses, which could result in a tie at the end of the day, I would like to award other points to determine the winner. I was thinking of 4 points for a win, 2 for a draw. Then 1 pt for each end won (only playing 12 ends), and 1/4 pt for each point scored. What do you think? How would you change? Remember the point is to keep all 4 teams thinking they still have a chance to be the overall winner when they get into the 3rd game.
Thanks,
Dave

In a true round robbin(all teams playing each other) I us Wins/draws - then total game point for in each game - them total ends won if required

You could use Wins, then Net Points (difference between winner's score and loser's score), then Percentage (each team's total points scored divided by total points scored by both teams in each game). For example, Team A - 16 points vs. Team B - 12 points = 28 total points scored in the game. Team A's percentage would be 16/28 or a percentage of .571 and Team B's percentage would be 12/28 or a percentage of .429 There is less likelihood for a tie with these calculations.
