BOWLS LEAGUE PROGRAMMES.... .....
....I am looking for a piece of software which will allow me to input results of bowls matches and automatically update my league. Is there such a piece of software already developed either as shareware or commercially? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I have written a program to allow you to enter your record. The program only runs in Windows95. I have not distributed it to anyone else yet as I am currently planning a rewrite that will provide more power and flexibility. However, if you are really interested and have Windows 95, let me know.

If you have not already found one ...(Your message was from some time ago.) I have written a DOS based program which will run on anything from a 286 upwards. It allows you to setup leagues for up to six different time slots per day, with up to 9 rinks and 52 weeks per league. It records match scores,(optionally players from a file of club members), points awarded, date, time and rink of match, and will print results in various formats sorted by any combination of Points, Games won, Shot difference, Shots scored, Games played and Team letter. It is also password protected, with the ability to setup 48 different users with different access levels, and the option to archive league results to disk.
If this sounds like what you're looking for email me and I will send you a copy to try out.

I wouldn't mind looking at the software myself.

Phil,
We're pretty sure WABA runs one but;
If you could outline exactly what you need, Maurie could enquire at TAFE colleges where he works.
Someone may be able to write one. (assignment for a student!)

I use Microsoft Excel although any properly formatted speadsheet will work

This can very easily be done on a spreadsheet.
Dates of matches down and names of teams across with totals. Fill in points won each week. I have being doing it for a few years on Quattro Pro.
If interested email me and I will try and convert it to work on your spreadsheet.

John,
I have a IBM Pentium Clone but we are giving up on windows and Bill Gates. We are Apple/Mac users.
Have fun with windows.
Respectfully,
John
