NEW GRASS FOR FASTER GREENS .....
The new creeping bent grasses used extensivley in the USA on the top golf greens could be used to improve the speed of the bowls in the near future. I am looking for several collaborators and greenkeepers to test the new varities on well maintain greens. If you want more information please e-mail johnb@turf-seed.com and I will respond. There are several Golf clubs using this material in the UK already and very pleased with the high shoot density and low cutting height for golf, why not use this new variety for bowls?
