CARPET BOWLS .....
Carpet Bowls is a sport in it's right. It is played on carpets 30 foot long and 6 foot wide, made from the same materials as used for indoor rinks. We have our own National Association, and a number of County Associations.
It is not the "Home indoor" game played in the living room.
Please contact me for information should you wish.

ann,
my son and i have recently moved to leigh on sea from Snape,Suffolk. We played in he heritage league Suffolk, for Snape, and would like to continue playing here, but when i contacted the local council, they told me of the clubs they ran, we went to one of the meetings but was disgusted by the way people had not been shown how to play properly and the way they walked on the mats, even after we had mentioned that it was almost sacraligous do so.
please could you inform us of any clubs that we could join, league or at least know what they are doing.
regards terry
