HOW TO USE THE LAWN BOWLS

This Retailer's List is to enable people to find out more about businesses which offer something of interest to bowlers. It gives businesses the opportunity to promote their services and provides a Director in which they can place picture or logo and list their products. It gives the bowler the opportunity to find any product and locate retailers of that product.

	Clicking on 'read' will allow you to scroll through an list of Businesses, in entry order. Unless you are just 'cruising' it may be quicker to find specific item, or a Retailer's list for a specific Country, by using the search engine.
	You can add a NEW record by clicking on the blue ADD button. The entry fields are:- ID CODE. YOU CANNOT ADD A RECORD TO THIS DIRECTORY UNLESS YOU HAVE REGISTERED WITH US AND OBTAINED YOUR UNIQUE ID CODE. (This is to protect our users by ensuring that only bone fide businesses are entered). YOU ONLY NEED REGISTER ONCE TO ACCESS ANY 'REGISTERED USERS ONLY' PAGES ON THE SITE. (for information on what is required please read our Information on how to Register page. CONTACT NAME This can be any person within the business who can sort out major queries. (A business email will available for general queries) POSITION The position or status of the above person within the business. CONTACT EMAIL The email of the above person (whose name will provide a link to their email address). BUSINESS NAME This should match that on the letterhead which was sent to us for Registration. Only the Registered Business may use an individual code. ADDRESS The address boxes are fairly self-explanatory. The address will be omitted unless you complete each box provided. COUNTRY If the Country you require is not listed, select 'UNLISTED' and enter the Country in the alternative box. This entry is required for the Search Routine and it is necessary that it is exactly as other entries for that Country so that they are selected as a group. If you add a new Country it will be added to the list, so please be sure that your Country is not already listed. POSTCODE/ZIP(required) Enter the postcode/zip of the address given. PHONE Enter your Business Phone. The international code will help those abroad. You have room to enter office and/or extension numbers too! You can also enter an evening phone number if you wish. FAX As above but for fax. E-MAIL Enter your Business e-mail address. LOGO If you have a LOGO, you can enter the URL so that logo is displayed against your business name in the directory. If it is on-line on another site, enter its URL, or send a .gif or .jpg file to us and enter the address as shown on the form. (Until we get it and put in on the site for you, it will appear as a default box on the record). WEB PAGE If you have a Web Page, you can enter your URL so people can link directly to your own pages. SHORT MESSAGE You have up to 60 characters to PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS. This will be shown at random on our 'Have a Nice Day' Page together with your site link, if you have entered one. NOTES You have up to 100 characters to give additional information - business opening times etc. PRODUCTS/SERVICES Select from the current list, or add to the list, whatever products or services you provide. This is to help people to find suppliers of specific items. The existing list helps you to remember product lines and include them quickly in your posting and provides a constant name for a product for our search routine. OUTLET TYPE What kind of business are you? CREDIT CARDS Do you accept credit cards ? If you do not, nothing will be shown on the form. CLASSIFIED Use this text area to promote your business. We may include an 'auto post to search engines' later using this message. Be sure you don't waste the first words of the message - some search engines truncate such messages, so you need to make the first words count ! It is a good idea to formulate a useful message off-line and cut and paste it into our form.
	The files may be searched for any word or combination of words, to speed up the process of locating records containing them. The Retailer's Search Routine has additional built in limiters so you can restrict your search if you wish to a particular country and/or product.
	Change your Entry or Delete it. You will need to identify yourself with your ID CODE in order to be able to do this. (This is to protect your entries from unauthorised access.) You will need to enter the ID CODE issued when you registered your business. It should be noted that ID CODES are case sensitive. When your ID CODE has been accepted, the entry made with it will set out in a form, so you can make changes as required.
	You can request to have copies of the entries added to these pages emailed to you. It is very simple to subscribe or unsubscribe.
