THE RULES REGARDING THE RIBBING ON BOWLS SHOES UNDER RULE 10 .....
There is controversy in South Africa over the permitting of ribbed sole shoes.

Many greenkeepers (especially in the Western Province) DO NOT agree with the soles and the district is fighting a general ruling from Bowls SA that it is "okay" to permit such shoes.

The WP council (largest membership in SA - about 14% of total boiwling population) will vote on subject in Feb.

Please give me any info possible on this subject
