We are a member of the Oxnard / Joslyn Lawn Bowls Club in Oxnard, California. We presently have a grass green (120' x 120') and are interested in converting it to an artificial lawn bowling surface. Our surrounding concrete walks and backboards are in good condition. I am interested in getting information on what is recommended for the proper sub-surface such as material and depth as well as drainage and watering system. We are trying to get bids for this work as well as the installation of the final surface. The bid process will have to go through the City of Oxnard and meet all their requirements such as permits, etc. I am interested in some idea of what this might cost. I think it would be best if one company handled the entire project.
