DOFFERENCES IN THE WOODS USED FOR INDOOR AND OUTDOOR BOWLS .....
Can anybody please enlighten me on the differences between the woods used for indoor and lawn bowls?

There is no difference. Except some bowlers use a narrower bias bowl on indoor greens and a standard bias on outdoor(grass)greens. I use narrow line bowls on grass and allweather carpets. Have a look at the section on "How to play Bowls" on the web site
