SCRATHING AND PITTING OF LAWN BOWLS .....
Has there been any research on excesive wear of Lawn bowls used on sand filled synthetics. Is it normal for excesive pitting and scratching on lawn bowls?

You need to look at the height of the sand on the green, it may need brushing to lower the infill levels, if there is a rooster tail from the bowls the sand levels are too high
