Can anyone indicate what the noemal speed of the greens are in Australia and does any of the bowlers use Hensilite Tiger or are they considered to have too much bias?

We bowled for the two years we lived in Australia (just left about 2 months ago) and the speed averaged around 12. My husband and I both played with Henselite Tigers and they were admired -- a couple of people switched to Tigers after trying ours. I think ,like everywhere, the trend is to narrower bowls, but the Tigers were very competitive.

I'm in Australia and just recently bought some bowls. Even though Henselite are an Australian company the Tigers are made for export market. Greens are pretty fast here and you might struggle with those bowls, but by all means try. People still use some very old bowls with severe draw out here and they are still available.
It's really what you like and are used to. I ended up getting Taylor Vector VS. Narrow on slow greens, MUCH bigger draw when they get faster, like right now in South Australia.
