LAWN BOWLING DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS .....

Hello from Bali Indonesia,
I am developing a villa complex for retirees in Bali, Indonesia. My mother will be a key resident and is an avid lawn bowler.
I would like to build two lawn bowl rinks for the complex and am interested in the design of a standard international lawn bowl area.
I would appreciate it if anyone has information on design and construction.
Cheers,
Lawrence

Lawrence,
I am involved in the design and construction of synthetic grass sports surfaces such as lawn bowls, tennis etc and would be able to assist you with design advice, supply of synthetic grass etc.
First I will need a site plan drawn to scale. I presume that you mean a two rink green is required.
Please fax me on 61 3 9459 4916. I am located in Mebourne Victoria.
kind regards, John.

I saw your enquiry for a 2 rink artificial outdoor bowling green on the web. Greengauge Artificial Sports Surfaces Ltd is one of the world's largest manufacturers and installers of artificial bowling surfaces under the Greengauge brand. If you can supply further details to our company eg sizes, when the green is being built, your budget etc I can forward more info including costings.
Look forward to hearing from you.

I did a search for talk about sports as I am looking for information on where Halifax Mooseheads players lived and the history about them and their culture. We have and have had hockey players from all over the world play with the local hockey team here in halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I am researching anyone who has played in the past and the present for the Halifax Mooseheads hockey team. I came upon your website when I searched for sports, the word "talk about sports" must have been on this webpage, to put you in the search engine for sports. Anyways I read your interesting information. You sparked my interest and you got me sidetracked reading the parts of your forum discussing lawn bowling for over the past couple hours. It was very interesting reading, although I didnot find anything about any Moosehead players. Your website is like the tv shows I like to watch of the so called sports experts sitting around a table ribbing each other with their opinions, but here you say your opinion about anything and everything.

Dear sir/madam
As part of my HND golf course management degree we are briefly looking at an alternative sports facilities module.
Please could you let me know a price for the construction of a typical crown bowling green with real turf/seed and possible the average prices for each aggregate used in the construction. The price is for any size green you could give me the details for.
The information is for an assignment and for future reference.
Please email the info to, russwilson18@hotmail.com
Sorry to be a pain, any help would be appreciated
Many thanks
Russ Wilson
