18 year old Jayden Christie storms into the top 15 in the National Player Rankings

Club Helensvale youngster and former Victorian junior star Jayden Christie has stormed into the top 15 in the National Player Rankings, with the 18 year old surging 7 places into 15th courtesy of his victory in the Summerland Pairs at Ballina to follow up his triumph in the Queensland State Pairs with veteran Mark Casey.

Teaming up with former Australian U25 represenative Sean Ingham (Broadbeach), the pair took out the the prestigious tier 3 event ahead of Brett Dean (QLD) and Brendan Baker (NSW), with Ingham now ranked 14th and sitting just 0.6 points ahead of his younger partner.

The top of the leaderboard remains unchanged, with the top 3 of Aron Sherriff, (NSW), Jeremy Henry (NSW) and Lee Schraner (TAS) remaining stable as points remained unchanged.

On the Women’s side, a relatively quiet month for rankings events sees a relatively unchanged leader board still lead by the recently crowned World Championships Women’s Triples champions Natasha Scott (NSW), Carla Krizanic (VIC) and Rebecca Van Asch (TAS).
