Ampthill Bowls Club

Bowls is a unique game that can be played by people of any age.

It is a very sociable sport that can be both fun and challenging.

It is also one of the few sports where a 70 year old can play a competitive game against a 10 year old, without the need for a handicapping system.

Our friendly club, with clubhouse, bar and outdoor patio areas, is set in attractive and tranquil surroundings, accessed through the acclaimed Kings Arms Path Gardens.

There surely isn’t a more pleasant spot in Ampthill on a summer’s day or evening.

Whether you are interested in taking up the game of bowls, socially or competitively, or would just like to be a spectator, we look forward to seeing you soon!

We offer several ‘Taster Sessions’ throughout the season, where anybody can come and have-a-go at bowls.
