How can we help?
Find clear answers about discovering bowls, following clubs, publishing events and managing club information.
Finding bowls
Find clubs, games and useful information near you.
Do I need to be a member or experienced player to join a game?
Requirements vary by club and event. Contact the organiser to check whether beginners and visitors are welcome, equipment is available and bookings are needed.
Why are there no games showing near me?
Try increasing the distance, changing the location or checking both tournaments and social bowls in What’s On Near Me. Nearby clubs may not have added their activities yet, so you can also contact them directly to ask what is available.
Can I use the site without sharing my location?
Yes. Enter a town, suburb or postcode manually to find clubs and activities. You do not need to allow access to your current location to search.
How do I find a bowling club?
Use Find a club and search by town, suburb or postcode. You can filter the results and open a club profile for its address, facilities, contact details and playing information.
How do I find games and tournaments near me?
Open What’s On Near Me, choose a location and distance, then view the results as a list or map. You can filter between tournaments and social bowls, and sort by soonest or nearest.
Can I search somewhere other than my current location?
Yes. Enter any town, suburb or postcode in What’s On Near Me. This is useful when planning a visit or holiday. The selected country in the site header helps us choose the right place when locations share a name.
How do I contact a club?
Open the club’s profile and use its contact details or contact button. LawnBowls.com does not manage individual club memberships, bookings or venue enquiries.
The club I am trying to contact has no email form on its page. What should I do?
An email form may be unavailable because we do not have a working email address for the club, or the club is not currently receiving emails through LawnBowls.com. We remove the form when we know enquiries cannot be delivered. Please use the phone number, official website or social media links shown on the club’s profile instead, where available. If you represent the club, contact LawnBowls.com with a link to your club’s profile so we can help check the contact details and restore enquiries once email delivery is resolved.
Saving and following clubs
Keep useful clubs close and personalise what you see.
What is the difference between Save, Follow and Played here?
Save keeps a club handy for later. Follow helps personalise your experience with that club’s activity and updates. Played here adds the club to your private playing history.
Where can I save or follow a club?
Use the action buttons on a club profile. You can also use the plus button beside a club in What’s On Near Me cards and map popups.
Is my Played here list public?
No. Played here is designed as a private record attached to your LawnBowls.com account.
Why do I need an account?
An account lets LawnBowls.com remember your saved, followed and played clubs across supported parts of the website and mobile app. Sign in or create an account to use these personal features.
Events and bookings
Find out how to enter a game, publish an event and keep its details current.
How do I book or enter an event?
Follow the entry instructions on the event listing or contact the organiser. Viewing or saving a listing does not reserve a place. The organiser can confirm entry fees, availability and booking requirements.
How can I confirm an event is still going ahead?
Check with the organiser before travelling, especially where weather may affect play. Times, availability and entry fees can change.
How do I update or cancel an event?
Sign in with the account that manages the event and open My Tournaments or My Social Bowls in your dashboard. Use Edit to update the details. For a regular social bowls session that is no longer running, use Pause. If you need help withdrawing a tournament or cannot access the listing, contact LawnBowls.com with the event link and the changes needed. If an event is cancelled, let anyone who has booked know directly as well.
How do I add an event?
Use the Add Event form. Choose the club, add the event details and include a flyer or image when one is available.
Who can add an event?
Club representatives and community contributors can submit appropriate bowls events. You will need to sign in, and submissions may be checked before or after publication.
Why should clubs add more events?
Every accurate event gives people another way to discover the club through What’s On Near Me, event pages, club profiles and other LawnBowls.com discovery features.
Can I add an event without a flyer?
Yes. Add the event information even when no flyer is available. Where supported, LawnBowls.com can use the club cover image so the listing still presents well.
Managing a club
Claim a profile, correct information and keep the club visible.
I found a duplicate club or a club that has closed. How do I report it?
Contact LawnBowls.com with the profile link and details so we can check the listing. For duplicates, include links to both profiles where possible.
What does Verified mean on a club profile?
Verified indicates that the club’s management relationship has been confirmed through LawnBowls.com’s verification process. A verified club representative can manage the profile and keep its information current. Please still check directly with the club about current opening times, facilities and activities.
My club is missing. How do I get it added?
Start on the Add Club page. It will help you search for your club first to check whether it is already listed, then guide you through adding it if it is missing.
How do I claim my club?
First find the club profile. Open it and use the claim option if the club is not already managed. We use the claim process to confirm that access is going to an appropriate club representative.
How do I update club information?
If you manage the club, open the Club Welcome Kit for your checklist and management tools. Keeping contact details, facilities, photos and playing information current makes the profile more useful.
The information for a club is wrong. What should I do?
If you represent the club, claim or manage its profile and submit the correction. Otherwise, use the club page or contact LawnBowls.com to report the problem with a link to the affected profile.
Does a club have to pay to be listed?
No. It is free for a club to be listed on LawnBowls.com, claim its profile, become verified and update its basic club information. Any optional paid services will be clearly identified and are not required for the club to appear in search.
Accounts and app
Use the same LawnBowls.com identity across supported devices.
I have forgotten my password. How do I reset it?
Open the sign-in page, choose Forgotten password? and enter the email address for your account. Follow the reset link sent by email. If the link has expired, request a new one.
My account verification email has not arrived. What should I do?
Check your spam or junk folder and make sure you used the correct email address. On the account verification screen, open Need a new verification link? and choose Resend verification email. Use the latest email if you have requested more than one. If you still cannot verify your account, contact LawnBowls.com for help.
What information should I include when reporting a website problem?
Use the Contact page and include the page link, what you were trying to do, any error message and your device or browser. Never send your password.
Can I use the same account on the website and app?
Yes. Sign in with the same LawnBowls.com account so supported personal data, such as club relationships, can flow between the website and mobile app.
Where can I get the LawnBowls app?
Visit the LawnBowls mobile app page for current availability and download or testing information.
I do not understand a bowls term. Where can I look it up?
Use the bowls glossary. You can search the existing terms or suggest a missing term for review.
I still need help. How do I contact LawnBowls.com?
