Help for clubs

A little help to get your club listed, keep its information current and share what’s happening on the green.

Start here

Get your club listed

Search for your club first. If it already has a profile, you can request access to manage it rather than add another listing.

If your club is missing, use Add Club to get started. Have its name, address and contact details ready.

A basic listing is free, including verification and updates to your club’s basic information. Optional paid services are identified separately.

Keep it current

Manage your club’s information

Use your club’s existing profile to request management access, keep its details current or arrange a handover when representatives change.

Already approved? Sign in and open the Club Welcome Kit for your checklist and management tools. Start by checking contact details, facilities, photos and playing information.

Give people a reason to visit

Share your bowls events

Use Add Event to submit a tournament or Social Bowls session. Sign in, choose the club and include dates, times, entry details and a contact for enquiries. Add a flyer or image if you have one.

Keep published details up to date through My Tournaments or My Social Bowls in your dashboard. Pause regular sessions that are no longer running. If an event is cancelled, let anyone who has booked know directly as well.

For club representatives

Club Management FAQs

Answers for club representatives about claiming a profile, getting approved and what you can manage afterwards.

We have step-by-step guides in your club management portal once you’re approved as a club manager.

How do I start managing my club on LawnBowls.com?

Find your club’s existing profile. If the club is not verified, select Manage this club?, sign in or create a free account, and follow the steps to request access. We check that you are an appropriate club representative before approving access. If the club is already verified, ask a current manager to invite you, as explained in the next question. Once your access is approved or your invitation accepted, open the Club Welcome Kit for your checklist and management tools.

My club is already verified. How can I be added as another manager?

A verified club already has a confirmed management relationship with LawnBowls.com. Ask a current active manager to open Club Management → Manage access and invite you using your email address. Follow the invitation email, sign in with the email address that received it and accept the invitation. This adds you as another manager; it does not replace the primary manager. If you do not know who currently manages the profile or cannot reach them, contact LawnBowls.com for help.

How do we take over management when our club representative changes?

Contact LawnBowls.com to request a management handover. Include the club profile link, your role at the club, the email address for your LawnBowls.com account and, if known, who previously managed the listing. We will check your authority to represent the club and help arrange the appropriate access changes. An invitation to become another manager does not transfer primary management. Please use the existing profile rather than adding a duplicate club.

My club is missing. How do I get it added?

Start on the Add Club page. It will help you search for your club first to check whether it is already listed, then guide you through adding it if it is missing.

How do I update my club listing?

If you already manage the club, sign in and open the Club Welcome Kit for your checklist and management tools. If you need access, find your club profile and select Manage this club?. We confirm that access is going to an appropriate club representative before you can update the listing.

Does a club have to pay to be listed?

No. It is free for a club to be listed on LawnBowls.com, manage its profile, become verified and update its basic club information. Any optional paid services will be clearly identified and are not required for the club to appear in search.

What should I check first after becoming a club manager?

Start by checking your club’s contact details, address and map location, facilities, photos and playing information. The Club Welcome Kit helps you work through your club’s profile once your manager access is approved.

How do I add or change my club’s logo and photos?

Once approved to manage your club, you can submit updates to its logo, cover photo and gallery. Use clear images you have permission to share. Club profile changes are reviewed before appearing publicly.

How do I publish a tournament or Social Bowls session?

LawnBowls.com supports date-specific tournaments and recurring Social Bowls sessions. Have the event or session details, entry information and organiser contact details ready. Approved managers can access the event tools through their club management portal. Submissions are reviewed before publication.

How do I edit or cancel an event we’ve already published?

Approved managers can submit changes to their club’s tournaments and manage its Social Bowls sessions. Tournament cancellation or postponement requires approval; recurring Social Bowls sessions can be paused when they are no longer running. If people have booked, let them know about changes directly as well.

Can more than one person help manage our club?

Yes. A club can have more than one active manager, so responsibilities can be shared. A current manager can invite another club representative. Each person uses their own account, and accepting an invitation does not transfer primary management of the club.

What should we do when a manager leaves the club?

Keep your club’s management access current when representatives change. The primary manager can remove additional managers’ access. If the primary representative is leaving, contact LawnBowls.com to arrange a handover. Adding another manager does not transfer primary management.

Why can’t I see my club’s management tools after signing in?

Creating an account does not automatically give you access to manage a club. Check that you are signed in with the account approved for the club, or the email address that received your invitation. A claim awaiting approval or an invitation you have not accepted will not yet give you manager access. If you believe your access is already approved, contact LawnBowls.com for help.
