Borstal Bowling Club

A very warm welcome from all of of us at Borstal Bowls Club.
Borstal Bowls Club was established in 1990 and consists of men and lady bowlers.
Borstal Bowling Club is a private club and shares all amenities with Borstal Cricket and Petanque clubs.

Tender care of the green is carried out by the clubs own green keeper Trevor Loveridge, plus many willing assistants.

Borstal Bowls Club caters for the men and ladies bowling requirements throughout the bowling season from late April until late September

The club organises mixed friendly matches throughout the playing season. Thursday morning is Coffee and Bowls and Thursday night is designated club night, which includes roll ups, coaching and socialising.

Club competitions are held during the season, also club teams are selected for national and local competitions. Members may also enter Medway and County competitions.

Each year games are arranged for the blind and open competitions held, with proceeds going to Kent Air Ambulance, other charities and Borstal club.

Borstal have been very honoured over the last few years, in being host to Kent for one of their County fixtures.
