About the Club

Our club has joined the elite group of lawn bowling clubs in New Zealand that have attained Gold Status, the highest recognition a club can achieve when assessing club operation, and this indicates superior levels of management, organisation, planning, leadership, facilities and volunteer contribution.

Bowls Papanui is located in Edgar MacIntosh Park in Condell Avenue and was established in 1911. We are a fully integrated club with an excellent club spirit built on inclusiveness and friendliness. We welcome new members, of all ages, including experienced bowlers, and those wishing to begin playing lawn bowls.
