Glen Forrest Sports Club

Glen Forrest Sports and Social Club, established in the late 1920s and tucked away in McGlew Road Glen Forrest.
It is a small and cosy club, which offers sport and recreational activities, including lawn bowls, cricket, darts, pool and bridge in a relaxed environment.
Apart from the activities and sports, there is a lively social calendar, which includes Quiz Nights, Comedy Nights, Car shows, Themed Events, AFL Games, Live music, Dances, Kids Easter Egg Hunt, Anzac Day Party, Christmas in July, Halloween Party, as well as a social bowls.
The Club opens at 4:30 everyday. Closing time is determined by patronage.
Perfect to hire for parties or functions.
During Bowls season the Club may open earlier if teams are playing at home.
The Club is well-known for its social spirit lucky member Fridays. We have a well-stocked bar for all drinking tastes and in winter the two open fires provide added warmth and atmosphere.
Members can also hire the Club for their special events: anything from birthday parties to functions with around 100 people seated comfortably.
