Club Information
The Howitt Park Bowls Club is one of 10 Bowls clubs in East Gippsland.
The Club was formed in 1977, with one 8 rink green. It is planted with the 007 variety of Bent grass - the only green with this turf in East Gippsland. A professional greenkeeper keeps it in good condition. There are about 70 members. New members are always welcome.
The Clubhouse was built in 1986, and can comfortably seat 64 people. The Club is licensed, and serves a range of packaged beers and mixed drinks. The bar is manned by volunteers. It is open whenever there is a bowls game.
Each year the Club runs Men's Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours Championships, and Women's Singles and Pairs championships, for members.
