Originally established as a golf club in 1911, the Irene Country Club has since expanded to include a range of other sporting activities. This includes; tennis, cricket, bowls, and squash (in addition to golf, of course).

Our club includes an 18-hole golf course, a cricket pitch, 2 bowling greens, 6 tennis courts (4 of which are floodlit), 2 squash courts, and a driving range.
