Pontymister Athletic Bowls Club

Pontymister Athletic Bowls Club is situated in Pontymister, near Risca.

Founded in 1912 the club has a very rich history.

Bowls is a fun sport for all ages young and old. We are always seeking new members whatever your age so don’t be afraid to come and sit on a bench and watch a few games of bowls and join us for a drink in our bar.

As an individual Bowler you can play in your local club comps or for the more competitive bowlers play county comps and even go on to represent your country in various events, right up to the Commonwealth Games.

But don’t be put off if your just looking for a bit of relaxation and a nice pint after, bowls has it all.
