About the Club

Formed in 1923, River Bowling Club plays friendly and competitive lawn bowls at River Recreation Ground. Its outdoor season runs from April to September, with Friday evening social bowls during the summer. The club also plays short mat bowls in its clubhouse during autumn and winter, and offers beginner instruction by arrangement.
