Club Information
A warm welcome to St Joseph's Bowls, Cardiff which was founded in 1976 as a sports section within St Joseph's Catholic Sports and Social Club, Cardiff.
We are affiliated to the Wales Bowling Association (WBA), East Wales Private Greens Bowling Association (EWPGBA), and South Glamorgan County Bowling Association (SGCBA).
We have two competitive teams who usually play on a Saturday afternoon in the EWPGBA:
First Team play in East Wales League (EWL) Division 4 'A' Team play in East Wales League (EWL) Division 6 We also compete in the WBA Carruther's Shield.
A competitive team comprising of players from both teams also play midweek Wednesday evening in the EWPGBA Cardiff Midweek League.
On a less competitive note, we have a team which is open to all members of the bowls club, who play local friendly Alliance matches on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon.
All new players, experienced or novice, are welcome.
