About the Club
Our lawn bowling greens opened in 1969 in Clayton Park and, for many years, the members were without an official clubhouse.
The only buildings on site were two wooden structures, painted red, which were used to house the greens equipment. Needless to say, many comments were made over the years by park users over the bright red colour of the buildings.
