Sydenham Bowling Club

The Sydenham Bowls Club (SBC) is the second oldest in Canterbury, and has been providing community members, of all ages, a safe place to get physically active and make connections with their peers since 1888. Our friendly members feel the need to maintain the history of the club for the members that have gone before us & for the future of the club.

If you've never played bowls before you're always welcome to try 3pm any Friday during Spring to Autumn and we can supply the bowls & some coaching. At SBC we always welcome new members, & if you want, you'll have plenty of opportunity to play competition bowls, as we have plenty of room in our sides for new players. You might even win a few trophies for your 'Pool room'.
