Club Information
We are a small bowls club with a darts team and a pool team based in Greenacres Park.
Wigton has a long history in the world of bowling, with the sport being played in the town for over 150 years.
Bowls has taken place in Wigton Park since 1924, and the club was reformed in 1986 following the opening of Wigton Bowling Club that same year.
Both greens are highly regarded, ranking among the best in the county of Cumbria. Park Bowling Club competes in the Northern Counties Triple League on Friday evenings and also hosts an aggregate league on Thursday evenings.
As a welcoming, family-friendly club, Wigton Park Bowling Club is always open to new members of all ages.
