This is a tournament update from a club you follow or within your chosen area.

You can use either option on its own or turn on both. An activity only needs to match one enabled rule.
Choose a town, suburb or postcode and a nearby radius. We’ll look for new activities from clubs in that saved area. Your alert area is separate from the place you use to search the site or app.
Your radius displays in kilometres or miles according to your account’s distance setting.
Get updates from the clubs you follow, wherever they are. Follow a club from its profile or from club search, then turn on Followed club alerts in your account.
You can change the clubs you follow at any time in My Bowls.

Each alert source has its own Tournaments, Social Bowls and Club News choices. All three are selected initially; you can untick any you do not want.
New tournament listings from matching clubs.
New Social Bowls listings from matching clubs.
New approved stories from matching clubs.
Choose how to receive them
Email alerts arrive at the address on your LawnBowls.com account. For Mobile App alerts, install the LawnBowls.com app, sign in with the same account and allow notifications on your phone.
If the same activity matches both your location and followed-club choices, you receive one alert for each delivery method you selected. Choosing Both can send one email and one Mobile App notification.
When alerts arrive
Alerts are triggered when a matching tournament or Social Bowls listing is published, or matching Club News is approved. They may take a few minutes to arrive. A regular Social Bowls session does not trigger another alert every week.
Event reminders you set yourself are separate from activity alerts. A weekly local games digest is an idea for the future; it is not part of these alerts.
