Alexandria Sporting Club

Alexandria Sporting Club, also commonly known as Sporting Alexandria and Sporting among the locals, is an Egyptian sports club based in Alexandria, Egypt.

Founded in 1890, the club is one of the oldest clubs in Egypt and Africa.

The club was taken over by the Egyptian government and converted to a national club in 1952.

We have a 4 lane Lawn Bowls field ( it used to be 6 lanes)

We have daily practice and almost all year round play due to the warm weather.

We currently have 30+ players.

Although it is a private club for members only, but it is allowed for visitors to enter and play Bowls, Golf, Swimming, Tennis and all the other activities available.
