About the Club

Ashbourne Bowls Club welcomes novice and experienced players to crown green bowls on Wyaston Road. The club has two 38-metre-square outdoor greens, with covered spectator areas and seating overlooking the surrounding Derbyshire countryside. The complex serves as headquarters for the Derbyshire Crown Green Bowling Association and regularly hosts county matches. Social and competitive bowling are available, with outdoor social sessions during spring and summer and indoor sessions in the clubhouse during winter. The clubhouse, known as The Venue, includes a licensed bar and can be hired for private celebrations and community events. Contact the club for membership and current playing arrangements.
