About the Club

Bensham Manor Bowling Club plays on an outdoor grass green at Thornton Heath Recreation Ground. The club celebrates its centenary in 2026 and welcomes newcomers and families to take part in its bowling community. Tuesday evening roll-ups offer a chance to visit and try the game during the summer season. Alongside bowling, the social programme includes an annual quiz night, a presentation dinner and summer barbecues. The green is reached from Melfort Avenue, with alternative park access from the Linden Avenue and Richmond Road side. Nearby street parking can be limited. Email the club about joining or arranging a visit.
