About the Club

Carshalton Bowling Club was formed in 1926 and plays at The Grove in Carshalton. Its six-rink outdoor grass green hosts mens, ladies and mixed matches, local leagues, friendly games and internal competitions. New bowlers can arrange three free introductory coaching sessions with all equipment supplied, bringing only flat-soled footwear. Informal roll-ups provide further opportunities to practise and meet members. The clubhouse overlooks the green and includes a kitchen, bar area, changing facilities and two disabled toilets, with spectator seating around the playing area. The club also runs a social programme, including quiz events, tours and other outings.
