Castle Hedingham Bowls Club

Castle Hedingham Bowls Club was founded in 1924 and plays outdoor bowls on Sheepcot Road in Castle Hedingham. The club fields league teams for women, men and mixed groups, alongside county and national competition, friendly matches, roll-ups and internal competitions. New members are welcome, with tuition and equipment available for beginners. The outdoor season normally runs from mid April to late September, followed by a winter programme of indoor carpet bowls. Social events include quizzes, barbecues and themed food evenings. Contact the club to arrange a visit and confirm current playing sessions and winter venues.
