Claremont Bowls & Community Club

The Claremont Bowls & Community Club is situated in the Northern Suburbs of Hobart on the Cadbury estate, right alongside the Cadbury Chocolate Factory and Golf Course. With views across the Derwent River, it’s a great place to enjoy a great game of Lawn Bowls and the hospitality of members and guests.

If you are a complete newcomer to lawn bowls and/or your looking for a sporting activity that isn’t too physically demanding but promises fun and a competitive element, lawn bowls may be exactly what your looking for and the Claremont Bowls & Community Club will provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere to all. The Claremont Bowls & Community Club has two (2) greens.

The “Top Green” will be changed to a Synthetic green during the off-season (2024) and all going well, will be completed and ready for Pennant commencing the start of Season 2024/25.  The “Bottom Green” will remain as a traditional grass green that we at the club believe will be the best grass green in the South and likely in the state due to the magnificent work put in by our green keeper, Kim Rainbird.
