About the Club

Framlingham Castle Bowls Club plays beneath the walls of Framlingham Castle on a green owned and maintained by its members. The club welcomes men and women, from newcomers to experienced bowlers, for competitive games and friendly roll-ups. Its clubhouse includes a bar, kitchen and changing rooms. Away from the green, members organise quizzes, a charity day, winter social evenings and an annual dinner and presentation. Bowling has a long history on this site, and the club's own records describe its affiliation to the county association in 1922.
