Horley Bowling Club

Horley Bowling Club has offered bowls in the town since 1913 and is based in the recreation ground off Brighton Road. Members play outdoor lawn bowls in summer and short-mat bowls inside the clubhouse during winter, with leagues, friendly fixtures, internal competitions and relaxed social sessions in both formats. New and experienced bowlers are welcome, and families are encouraged to join in. Qualified coaches offer free introductory taster sessions with equipment provided; visitors need flat-soled shoes to protect the green. The club also has a licensed bar, social membership and regular social events. Visitors can use the recreation ground car park and walk alongside the tennis courts to the club gate; a bus stop is outside the recreation ground entrance.
