Kingborough Bowls & Community Club

The Kingborough Bowls and Community Club is located at 1615 Channel Highway, Margate, Tasmania. Situated in the fastest-growing Municipality (Kingborough) in southern Tasmania, the Club was established in September 1952. It can be accessed within a twenty-minute drive south of Hobart.

Club facilities include two grass bowling greens and an eight-rink indoor centre, providing those up for a game with year-round play.  The outdoor greens are generally open Monday to Saturday during the Pennant season (October to April), with the indoor centre open all year round from 9.30 am Monday to Saturday.

The Club also offers a full bar for members and visitors and a kitchen and function centre (available for hire) catering for up to 100.

Along with the bowling activities the club was founded to provide, the club is now a base for a range of other groups and activities, including the KBCC darts team, and Stitch and Share.
