About the Club

Kinross Bowling Club is a small but friendly Lawn Bowls club in the county town of Kinross, Scotland. The club currently has vacancies for new members

The club was founded on the 22nd of March, 1893. Initially, it was called "the Kinross-shire Bowling Club" and members were required to be shareholders - for the then significant sum of £1 each.
The 1st opening of the green was in April 1893, with its first match on 30th May, 1893, against Clackmannan, shortly after the club had joined the Association of Bowling Clubs of Clackmannan and Kinross on 27th May, 1893.
