About the Club

Knighton Victoria Bowls Club was established in 1887 and plays on Church Lane, off Brinsmead Road in Leicester. The club welcomes new and experienced bowlers, with introductory sessions where experienced members help visitors try the game. Its outdoor green supports friendly and competitive bowls during the playing season. Club life continues through winter with carpet bowls, bingo, quizzes and social evenings. A function room, kitchen and bar support social activities and venue hire by arrangement. Contact the club for current membership, visiting and playing arrangements.
