Maldon Bowling Club has played in the town since 1908 and is now based on Park Drive near Promenade Park. Its outdoor grass green hosts mixed friendly matches, local leagues, club competitions and informal roll-ups during the April-to-September season. Beginners are welcome, with training available from an instructor qualified to teach newcomers or from an experienced player. The clubhouse also opens on Friday evenings throughout the year for drinks, conversation and cards. Parking is available within the club’s grounds, and both playing and social members are part of club life.
