Manage this club?Newton Abbot Bowling Club was founded in 1911 and plays in Courtenay Park, a short walk from the railway station and town centre. Its outdoor grass green normally accommodates six rinks, with seven available on occasion. The club combines league and county competition with friendly games and visiting touring teams. A qualified coaching team supports new and improving bowlers. Members and visitors can socialise in the clubhouse bar after play, with volunteers providing lunches and teas by arrangement. The surrounding park offers open space, trees and gardens, with parking available at the railway station.
