North Ipswich Bowls Club

North Ipswich Bowls Club has been established since 1955. We have two greens and a large club house containing a function room, licensed bar and covered barbeque area. The gardens are landscaped and kept in good order.

The club is located one kilometre from the centre of Ipswich near the Riverlink Shopping Centre. We are conveniently situated in the same block as Brown’s Park which has gardens, a children’s playground and family barbeque area.

Our regular Club Day is Thursday afternoon when we play self selected triples.  We play a social game of Scroungers every Sunday morning and a ‘Chook Run’ on Friday afternoon.

Club Championship games are usually scheduled for Saturdays but can be played anytime.  Our competition teams representing NIBC play as the North Ipswich “Steamers”  in  interclub competitions as scheduled.  We are also a regular venue for visiting clubs/groups such as Taxi Bowlers, Pub Days, and Q.R.I.S.B.C. and we host other clubs from around Southeast Queensland.

We welcome new members and visiting bowlers and encourage beginner bowlers to make their start at our North Ipswich bowls club where you will find a great bunch of mates and plenty of helpful support. Hope we see you on our greens sometime soon.   If you are walking or driving by and you see people on the greens or in the clubhouse, please drop in and check us out.
