Pemberton Bowling Club

Pemberton Bowling Club welcomes bowlers of all ages and abilities to Barnes Park in Sunderland. Affiliated to Bowls Durham and Bowls England, the registered charity offers both practice bowls and competitive play. Members can take part in local leagues, club championships and veterans' competitions, with national team competition opportunities also listed by the club. Newcomers can borrow bowls for practice sessions and request instruction from the club's certified coach. Flat-soled bowling shoes are required on the green. Junior membership is available, and visitors are welcome to ask about joining or simply meet members for a cuppa and a chat. Contact the committee to confirm current playing and coaching arrangements.
