Founded in 1919, Penlee Bowling Club occupies a seafront setting in Bolitho Gardens between Penzance and Newlyn, with views across Mounts Bay. The club plays outdoor bowls on its grass green and runs club nights, friendly matches and league teams. Short-mat bowls is also available in the clubhouse throughout the year, with two mats, regular roll-ups and competitions. New and experienced bowlers are welcome. The clubhouse has a licensed bar and is available for functions. Public pay-and-display parking is available at Wherrytown, with limited disabled parking at the gardens entrance; contact the club to confirm access and current arrangements.
