Purley Bowls Club

Purley Bowls Club was established in 1905 and is the bowls section of Purley Sports Club at The Ridge. Its outdoor grass green has six rinks, with a purpose-built bowls clubhouse and changing rooms. Members can use the sports club bar and catering facilities. Certified coaches offer taster sessions and help new and experienced bowlers, while beginners can borrow bowls as they learn. Outdoor play takes place from spring to September. During the winter, two short mats are laid out in the Cowen Suite dining room at the same sports-club venue. Bowls membership enquiries can be made through the club email or reception telephone.
